"The Threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but
as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and
particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to
force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons.
He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing
the world, during the interval, to loose the focus we had on weapons of mass
destruction and the isue of proliferation. -John Kerry, 10/09/02

Putin Says Russia Warned U.S. on Saddam

"After the events of September 11, 2001, and before the start of the military operation in Iraq, Russian special services several times received such information and passed it on to their American colleagues," he told reporters.

The Kremlin leader, who was speaking in the Kazakh capital, said Russian intelligence services had many times received information that Saddam's special forces were preparing terrorist attacks in the United States "and beyond its borders on American military and civilian targets."

INSANE BERKELEY CITY COUNCIL MEMEBERS PASS RESOLUTION TO RIP APART OUR ECONOMY AT ITS CORE: DESTROY THE RIGHTS OF CORPORATIONS

"The Berkeley City Council, known for its far-out ideas, has unanimously passed a resolution calling for constitutional amendments to deny constitutional rights to corporations. "

The glue that the city council members are sniffing must be extra strong this month.

MICHAEL MOORE: DEMONSTRATING HOW SOMEONE SMART CAN BE FLAMINGLY STUPID

Distinguish between capitalism and greed. Is it safe to assume that on some level, you think capitalism is okay?

No, not really. I think our economic system is unfair and unjust and it's not democratic and it has to change. When I say that last line in the film, "One evil empire down, one to go," our system is the one that's got to go. Now, don't ask me what to replace it with because I don't know. I wish somebody would invent a system that takes the best things of capitalism and socialism and puts them together. The things from capitalism that encourage individuality and creativity and ingenuity, and those things from socialism that say no one shall be left behind. Why can't we have that? Why do they have to be at odds?

So that's my point. I throw it out there. Some kid in some Ph.D. economics thing is going to go, "Hmmm." I'm trying to create a spark so that people smarter than me can figure it out and get going with it. Don't depend on the Phil Knights to do this.

This talk Moore has with an interviewer demonstrates just how really ignorant and, well, just stupid he is when it comes to the facts about why we keep going with capitalisim. Lets break down what he's said;

I think our economic system is unfair and unjust and it's not democratic and it has to change.

Moore makes three charges against capitalisim; Its unfair, unjust, and undemocratic. He couldnt be more wrong. Of course, the above things do happen. In fact our system is extremely fair, just, and democratic. It allows anyone- ANYONE- to go out and make something of themselfs. Anyone can make it if they have a dream and go out and do it. And thats ALL that it demands. Just want it and you'll get it. You cant be more just and fair than that. Socialisim prooves this- it only allows you to achive so much, and demands that you have a pre determined portion given to you. Thats completely unfair, unjust, and very much undemocratic.

2. "Now, don't ask me what to replace it with because I don't know."
So why should anyone even listen to you, Mr Moore? Whats the point? To hear you complain about things you admit you dont understand?

3."I wish somebody would invent a system that takes the best things of capitalism and socialism and puts them together. The things from capitalism that encourage individuality and creativity and ingenuity, and those things from socialism that say no one shall be left behind. Why can't we have that? Why do they have to be at odds? "
Capitalisim does this! And very well! The only time people are left behind is because they CHOOSE to be left behind, either in their lifestyle, or choices. And its GOOD that this minority is left behind. Why does anyone who only has to WANT to have something and has the DETERMINATION to go out and do it have to redistribute what they have to others who are so lazy or inept that they cant go out and get it?

Michael Moore, youre a fool. You advocate the very thing you claim to be against.

Israel wins victory for freedom as it assassinates terrorist mass murderer leader
Missile destroys car carrying head of Nablus branch of Arafat network

"The Israeli air force assassinated the Nablus head of Yasser Arafat's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades today.

An attack helicopter fired missiles at a car carrying Khalil Marshud, head of the Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus. An aide was also killed.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades have threatened to kidnap and execute Israeli soldiers and civilians, including women and children, to avenge a life prison term given to former West Bank Fatah chief Marwan Barghouti, Haaretz reported.

In a statement faxed to Reuters last week, the network said: "We urge all our fighters to kidnap Zionists, children, women and soldiers and sentence them to death."

"In this assassination Israel eliminated all possibilities for a cease-fire. We won't abide by any cease-fire agreement, and we will avenge our leader's death," a spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said. "

"The planet Saturn is shown in views near and far in these photographs released by NASA (news - web sites) on May 26, 2004. The top image is a view from NASA's Earth-orbiting Hubble Space Telescope (news - web sites) taken on March 22, 2004. The subtle pastel colors of ammonia-methane clouds trace a variety of atmospheric dynamics. Saturn displays its familiar banded structure, with haze and clouds at various altitudes. The magnificent rings, at nearly their maximum tilt toward Earth, show subtle hues which indicate the trace chemical differences in their icy composition. The bottom image from the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft was returned on May 16, 2004, when its imaging science subsystem narrow-angle camera was too close to fit the entire planet in its field-of-view. Cassini is still about 20 million kms (12.4 million miles) away and only 36 days from reaching Saturn. Cassini has two cameras, and this narrow angle image was taken at a range of 24.3 million kms (15.1 million miles). Enceladus, one of Saturn's 31 known moons, appears near the south pole at the bottom of the image. NO SALES REUTERS/NASA/Handout REUTERS "

SUPREME COURT TELLS ATHIEST MICHAEL NEWDOW TO SHUT THE FUCK UP

By an 8-0 vote, the justices overturned a controversial decision by a U.S. appeals court in California that reciting the phrase amounted to a violation of church-state separation.

The ruling by the justices was based on the technicality that Newdow could not bring the case before the court because he did not have legal control over his daughter, on whose behalf he was arguing.

Ok so a man who's got a beef with the words "Under God" has been using his CHRISTIAN daughter, who he doesnt even have custody of to press his agenda. More than 95% of this country belives in God, mr newdow, of all different faiths. Your arguement that "Under God" somehow establishes a state religion is moronic and your antics have been beyond juvenile, I hope this chasing of windmills bankrupts you and youre hatemongering anti religion crusade.
