"The Threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but
as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and
particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to
force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons.
He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing
the world, during the interval, to loose the focus we had on weapons of mass
destruction and the isue of proliferation. -John Kerry, 10/09/02

I recently went on a political rant on one of my favorite message boards and felt like I should repost it here.

Im not sualy for conspiracies, however, i know how the frat boy secret society thing works. kerrry vs bush is a scam.

I voted for bush the first time because he is for the issues I care about. I think his leadership skills suck mostly because he doesnt inspire nor does he communicate effectively. The same can be said for Kerry. As leaders go I find Cheny much more effective at communication, yet he also fails to inspire. Edwards can inspire but doesnt convice anyone with his insane ideas.

While I dissagree with almost everything that comes out of his mouth, Nader is a leader; he's managed to keep himself afloat without any major financing or secret societies keeping him afloat.

I want a leader. Someone like Regan or JFK. Someone who says damit, were americans and we can solve all the worlds problems. Someone who looks towards the future and says thats where we're going, and all we need to do is pull ourselfs up by the bootstraps and go there.

Bush isnt that man. He sees that future, the big ideas, but doesnt have the ability to inspire us to get there.
Kerry, with his mundane redistributionist and victiimization rhetoric is the last man i excpet to go in that direction.

Americans are a different breed than most people on this planet. We all know, inately, that we can and will do whatever it is we make our mind up to do. This is because in our soul, we know that we dont need an agency to give it to us, a politician to take from someone else so that we can have a taste, or a lucky number come up to sprinkle us with blessings.

We are a can do society. A race of people who are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We're computer hackers and garage hot rodders. What other country do you see inspiriing its citizens to reach the edge of space or create a better microchip? Not one!

Rosevelt inspired us with his great society. JFK asked us, the citizen, what we could do for this country. Regan told us all the light was just around the bend, and it was morning again in america.

Bush, while trying to take these steps, has failed in this one crucial step, and why ive re considered my vote for him. Yes, he's outlined a map to mars and to envigorating the economy. But what joy does anyone see in that?

Kerry hasnt once said anything inspiring. He's monotone. What great achivement does he see america reaching towards? Fucking up our health care by overburding taxation on people? Thats not vision. Thats the mentality of pandering to the mindset of poverty and crooks who think they can have it for free if only someone gives it to them.

Nader is on the verge of capturing this american spirit. The only reason why I waver is because he spews an even more radical version of what Kerry does; If he would only come to the center more, and lead everyone, not just the few who are ignorant enough to belive some of the mor radical things he says, I'd join up with his campain.

All of these canidate suck. We all know it. I am better off today than I was 4 years ago, as are most americans. Why anyone can, with good concious, vote for Kerry, is beyond me. Because you hate Bush? What nonsense is that? Kerry has vowed to keep All of BUsh's major policy decisions intact. Whats the difference? Because he has a -D at the end of his name? Because he's promising to take from people who have worked their whole lives and give it to you so you can go get penicillin for free twice a year? Thats not being american!

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, makers, hackers, and garage Hotrodders. The man who inspires me to go out there and make something more of myself is the man that will earn my vote.

Nader has all the chance in the world to win as long as each of you make that choice to stop voting for shmucks.

Stop voting against someone and start voting FOR someone.
